Like beautiful butterflies we are,
Dazzling amid the myriad
Spectrums of each other’s glow.
Our fires burning brighter every time.
And yet we can return,
Flourishing in our own bounty too.
So lucky we are just to have found
Through out own fleeting eyes
A meeting beyond this mortal existence;
One which dances with the stars
And shoots and streams
And again returns into itself.
Time and space can’t hold us apart
In me you dwell as I in you.
Something seen and touched and longed for again.
But all will come.
We know, you say.
I know, baby.
Our future’s exciting;
we stand alone and together.
The powerful vision of two unshakable.
Ours to create and shape and mould.
Ours to enjoy and shake and hold.
Empowering, flowering beauties that we are!
Inspired by William Blake’s ‘Eternity’:
“He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity’s sunrise.”
