Kundalini Yoga and Gong Bath Relaxation

The gong is a healing tool for the nervous system, creating deep relaxation and release from the torrent of thoughts one may be experiencing. It also stimulates the glandular system to a higher level of functioning, flushing out any blockages or toxins and clearing the chakras (energy centres) of the body.

My gong is tuned to the planet Neptune, which works to break down the illusions created by the mind, whilst simultaneously recreating a feeling of unity. It’s watery in nature, pushing through blockages in emotions and offering a sense of deep relaxation. You simply have to relax on the mat, comfy under blankets and cushions, and let the healing vibrations of the Gongs wash through you.

Please have warm, comfortable clothes ready for the gong bath relaxation. You might even like to bring a blanket.

The Yoga Society at Leeds University has been steadily growing over the last four years to over 3000 members. All classes are held upstairs in the Union, are open to the general public and all levels of fitness.
